Common Mistakes to Avoid

Neglecting the Cognitive Section

TCS online assessments have strict cutoffs for the foundation cognitive round. Failing this section prevents you from reaching the coding round evaluation.

Not Testing Code with Edge Cases

In the NQT coding section, your code is tested against hidden test cases. Writing a solution that only passes basic inputs will yield partial marks.

Copying Projects from Online Tutorials

Interviewers frequently drill down into resume projects. If you cannot explain the architecture, design choices, or code, you will fail the technical round.
